Kate
Weight Loss: Lost half a Stone
Achievement: Ran 3km
"I started the challenge because I was feeling quite lost and was not following a structured fitness or nutrition routine. Especially being about 1.5 stone heavier than what I was pre Covid and feeling a lot less toned and not as strong, I needed to get back on track
I’ve realised that you don’t need to be overly restrictive or cut anything in particular out completely, it’s all about being consistent, ensuring you’re in a deficit and getting sufficient protein in.
I’ve been able to enjoy foods that I like and not feel guilty about eating them because I know I’ve accounted for them in my daily calories and they fit in with my plan!
Before the challenge I struggled a lot with running outside and continuing for anything more than 5 mins or so - now I can run 3km and not feel like I’m about to die!
I’ve lost almost half a stone and 6.5cms off my waist."

Weight Loss: Lost 7kg
Achievement: Walked 5km
"I started this challenge feeling very low in myself. It took a lot of courage for me to sign up to the challenge in the first place . I’ve tried so many “diets “ before and after a few weeks I’d always throw the towel in and loose interest and the weight would go back up. I have always struggled with my weight but applying for this challenge I was the heaviest I have ever been. I feel that it was beginning to have an impact on my mental health as I felt crap about myself.
I can honestly say I am a different girl than the girl I was starting this challenge. I feel amazing. I am down 7kg and 67cm off my body I feel like me and I am beginning to love myself and be kind to myself. I have been able to stick to my plan yet enjoy lovely events that have occurred over the 12 weeks and for me this was huge !
My Mindset towards excercise has completely changed. The first few days I struggled to walk 10 mins without back pain. Last week I walked 5k and I could of walked another 5! I feel amazing and I used to avoid going for walks with my friends as I knew I wasn’t fit enough and now my favourite meet up plan is a walk ! I have completed my workouts and loved them . And from my belly decreasing in cm’s I managed my first full sit up last week which to me was huge."

Weight Loss: Lost 4kg
Achievement: Ran 5km
"I started the challenge because I had gained weight during 2 years of the pandemic and felt so self conscious in all of my clothes and in my body. I was feeling the worst I have ever felt about myself ever.
I am now feeling extremely confident and happy in my own skin. I am more confident now than I was before I even gained weight
I could never run before joining this program. I can now complete 5km runs! So proud of myself !
I have lost 4kg throughout the challenge which has brought me back down to my target weight/ roughly my weight pre-pandemic! I also used to suffer with severe bloat where I would wake up bloated which has disappeared since I changed up my diet and cut back on takeaways and sweets. I couldn’t be happier that I am at this point after just 12 weeks. Feel like a new person!"

Weight Loss: Lost 7.8kg
Achievement:Ran 3km and closing in on 5km
"I started this challenge as I was after putting on a lot of weight again since my wedding last year. I wanted to challenge myself to sticking to a program to of course loose weight
I feel great 12 weeks later . It’s great knowing you can live a normal life with excerise and have the foods I always liked aswell and treats . The diet plans I’ve done before dwelled on little to no carbs or loads of fruit and veg whereas the plan with Paul was normal foods
The performance goals I achieved were I ran a 3k in just under 20 minutes and felt great after it and was able to breath. Also ran 5k but currently still training to completely run the entire 5k at the moment but I will get there
Weight wise I’ve lost 7.8kg in 12 weeks

"I started the challenge as I had a baby in October and felt so unfit, Covid stopped the gym for myself so I lost fitness and needed a goal,so 12 weeks sounded manageable. And I had the baby weight to lose too.
I have to say I feel the fittest I've ever felt in a long time, and also probably the smallest in weight too.
I definitely have become more stronger, the most I used to lift was 6kg doing DB presses and now I'm using 7 and hoping to aim for 8kg. And I got back to running, which I really missed, so did my first 10k in a long tim
I finally lost the baby bulge and am back into clothes that I used to wear, which feels great. I'm down nearly 7kg and going to try my best to maintain that."
